In 1956, Francis Cresci created La Pizza Cresci on Massena Street, Nice. It was a whole new restaurant concept in France... In the carefree joyful years that preceded "La Dolce Vita", customers could then appreciate the atmosphere and the show of street-life while tasting a unique dish. Now all generations gather here with the same enthusiasm as if they were going to the cinema.

Thanks to its immediate success, Francis Cresci decided to develop La Maison Cresci by creating La Pizza Cresci in Cannes in 1960, and in Nice, La Taverne Massena in 1963 and Le Québec in 1969.
